As we embark on our rapid expansion, we are eagerly seeking talented individuals to join our team as Procurement Executive to provide unrivalled support to our clients in the automotive industry.

As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing our company’s purchasing activities and ensuring that all procurement processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and objectives

– Identify and source reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing

– Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and continuously evaluate their performance

– Monitor and forecast upcoming procurement needs based on production plans and market trends

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidance

– Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies

– Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery and invoicing processes

– Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and pricing

– Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function

– Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with legal and ethical standards

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities and supplier information

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

– Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably in the automotive industry

– Strong negotiation and communication skills

– Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage

– Knowledge of supply chain procedure

– Ability to work independently and in a team environment

– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

– Fluent in English and Malay, both written and spoken
